During this 1-hour in-depth case study Oliver Neumann will talk about the entire production process of MOTHER’S BABY, from the initiation of the project to the screening of the film in this year’s Berlinale Competition.

Oliver Neumann is producer and CEO of the Vienna based production company FreibeuterFilm, which has produced over 25 internationally awarded feature films. His most recent films produced are the highly acclaimed GREAT FREEDOM (2021) by director Sebastian Meise, which was shortlisted for Best International Feature film at the Academy Awards 2022 and won the Prix du Jury in the Un Certain Regard section in Cannes 2021, HINTERLAND (2021), a neo-expressionist anti-war thriller from Oscar-winning director Stefan Ruzowitzky, which won the Prix du Public UBS Piazza Grande at Locarno Film Festival and, THE VILLAGE NEXT TO PARADISE (2024) directed by Mo Harawe, which had it’s world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section in Cannes 2024.

The conversation will be moderated by Marleen Slot, owner of Viking Film.
