In an effort to understand the audience results and the distribution challenges of films directed by women and men, and the investment in national film budgets in Iberoamérica, the Ibero-American Audiovisual Observatory will present the first report that seeks to demystify whether there really is equality on the screens of the countries of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, among others. And through specialized speakers it will generate a space for reflection on the perspective and challenges of content and its distribution in Latin America and Europe.

The activity is organized by the Latin American Corner, an initiative formed by the Conference of Audiovisual and Cinematographic Authorities of Latin America (CAACI), the Ibermedia Program, the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, Proimágenes Colombia and the Film Commission of Costa Rica, in cooperation with the EULAC Cinema initiative of the European Union.
