The core of queer filmmaking and the spark in our stories. When reflecting on this year’s topic for Berlinale Talents; Listen Courageously, a central aspect of queer storytelling stood out. That one thing which drives the coming out and coming of age films, the curiosity that drives desires and stirs the drama in our predominantly straight societies. When we listen to our heart and we tell these stories, it is an act of courageousness and at times an undertaking that can lead to risks personally and professionally. In this third edition of the Teddy Talents Talks we invite four film professionals who have broken boundaries just by listening courageously and reflecting this in their work.
