Has Prime Video found the magic sauce? Over the last year, the streaming service released an increasing number of shows created by Amazon MGM Studios and originating from outside the US that debuted to international success. The most successful of them all come from Europe and follow a similar pattern, being based on successful book-IPs with strong fan followership and targeting a young adult audience. The Spanish Original movie Culpa Tuya is the second film adaption of Mercedes Ron’s best-selling ‘Culpables’ book trilogy and has taken the world by storm, becoming the most-watched International Original on Prime Video ever at launch. It’s closely followed by Prime Video’s most successful International Original series ever, Maxton Hall: The World Between Us, based on the successful Save Me books by German author Mona Kasten. Just recently, Prime Video released its next young adult title My Fault: London.

Young adult is a leading genre generating huge audiences and fandoms. Although targeting a younger audience, these stories are enjoyed by a far broader viewership than expected.

Join Nicole Morganti, Tara Erer, and Philip Pratt from Amazon MGM Studios in discussing how the European Originals Maxton Hall and the Culpa movies became a worldwide phenomenon and what the expectations are for My Fault: London, the next European title in the Prime Video young adult content lineup.

This event will take place at CinemaxX 3.
