Green Consulting: How to Start Producing More Eco-Consciously

Berlinale Industry Events

Access: On pre-registration

This expert session with Ludovica Chiarini (EcoMuvi) and Laila Lala (Greenigma) aims to develop the consciousness of participants towards the basic theory and practice of sustainable production.

From the main expectations to have for your Green Consultant [their role, workflow on set, reporting skill set], to the standards to aim for when reporting, certifying and budgeting for sustainability in your project lifecycle.

Real life case-studies and examples will be brought to the table, to further analyse exactly who, what and how to implement sustainability in productions, regardless of budget, format or country of origin. Co-production will also be a lens used to explore strengths and constraints currently facing the market.

This intro session is specifically aimed at anyone who is new to the topic and interested in discussing best-practices, getting answers to the most frequent and pressing questions on time and budget, as well as learning why an extra team member might be a cost and emission saving opportunity down the line.

After a brief introduction, participants are strongly encouraged to enter into a discussion with the group and experts. This is an introductory session aimed at line producers, producers as well as department heads to get started and address all questions and worries that may arise around sustainable production. However, all other specialities are also welcome to apply for a spot in this session.

This session is open for pre-registration to all with a Market Bagde.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation to allow others to book the open slot.
