Innovation Hub

Under the roof of the Gropius Bau, the newly created Innovation Hub at this year's EFM devotes an entire floor to creativity and pioneering developments in the international production sector for the first time.

The focus here will be on cutting-edge technologies and AI-based solutions from screenwriting to distribution, which are revolutionising the industry. The Innovation Hub features a technology-focused exhibitor area with a mix of companies and institutions showcasing the latest developments in film technology and international production. Come and discover how technology is being used to take productions to the next level and find out what's new on the minds of producers from various institutions and companies.

The new space is being realised in collaboration with Microsoft, Largo.ai, Vimeo, Publikum.eo, the Film Commission Region Stuttgart, the Animationsinstitut of the Filmakademie BW, as well as carefully selected start-ups.

Co-Working Space for Producers

Last year's pre-bookable meeting tables will be replaced by a new exclusive co-working space, accessible only to producers with a market badge. External guests can register for access at the info counter.

Work, connect and collaborate in our dedicated co-working space in the Innovation & Producers Hub (Gropius Bau, 2nd floor). Reserved for producers and their guests only, this dedicated area provides a professional yet dynamic environment for focused networking and business discussions. Open daily from 9am to 8pm, this space offers tables, refreshments, a fast internet and a relaxed atmosphere thanks to its strategic and secluded location. Come and be part of the space where producers from all over the world work side by side and enjoy a safe haven from the hustle and bustle of EFM all day.

Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be occupied by the same person for up to 90 minutes on any given day, so that all producers have a chance to use them.
