The EFM offers the possibility of presenting one trailer on the EFM online platform for each title screening at the market. You can upload one trailer per title via your account on the EFM website.

• Audio, video and subtitles should be contained in a single file
• The running time may not exceed 5 minutes and the file size should not exceed 1 GB
• If possible, please submit HD material as mp4 (H.264, AAC)
• Please encode your video data with a constant bitrate and either 24, 25 or 30 progressive fps
• The file name should not include any special characters, for example, do not use any file names like “myfilm!@&%$§*().mov”

To ensure a high technical quality, the following settings for file compression are suggested:

If your file is available in a different format or on DVD, a conversion to H.264 is recommended. File conversion is offered by the software "HandBrake" for example, which is free and available for all popular computer operating systems.
