10 drama series projects looking for international co-production and financing partners will be presented at the 10th Co-Pro Series Pitch and Networking event on February 20/21, curated and held by the Berlinale Co-Production Market.

The call for submissions for drama series projects is open August 16 till October 5. The Co-Pro Series selection is going to be announced in January. Producers and financiers looking for series projects can apply in November-January.

Participation in the event is by invitation only.

Co-Pro Series - Project Requirements

Projects should be:

  • exciting first-season, high-quality drama series or miniseries (no procedurals)
  • suitable for international co-production and looking for co-production partners

Projects may be submitted:

  • by producers from all over the world
  • in development and financing stages, with or without confirmed financing in place, but not in production yet
  • with or without confirmed partners such as broadcaster or distributor on board

Co-Pro Series - Project Submission

From August 16 till October 5, producers can submit their drama series projects for Co-Pro Series. Required material (all in English language):

  • Fully completed online Co-Pro Series Submission Form
  • One-pager (a 1-2-page pitch of the project)
  • Pilot Treatment (5-8 pages, approx. 4.000 - 5.000 words) or Script
  • Bible of the Series (Characters, World, Season Overview)
  • Dialogue Scene (5-page script excerpt, in English)
  • Financing Plan (in Euros; indicating precisely which elements are confirmed, as well as the timeline for non-confirmed elements)
  • Teaser/Visuals (where available)
